So you're having a baby . . . but what is a doula, anyway?

Attend this free workshop and discover how and why the historic role of a doula to support vaginal and cesarean births and postpartum family needs has evolved into joining the mainstream conversation surrounding modern childbirth at home, in hospitals, and birthing centers. In our safe and supported community space you may ask all of your questions while gathering all of the information you'll need to inform yourself and decide if having the support of a doula is the right fit for your birth plan and childbirth experience. Whether this if your first baby or your fourth, all expectant families are welcome including single parents by choice and LGBTQ+ families.
