Yoga with TaraMarie - 6:30-8pm

TaraMarie guides a Yoga practice that is comprehensive, seasonally-supportive*, and taught with a down-to-earth approach while honoring the classical eight-limbed Yoga path (conscious living observances, disciplines, posture, breath control, sense control, concentration, meditative awareness, and union). Classes are informed by Hatha and Iyengar styles and also incorporate steady breath-focused sequencing in a sun salutation tradition. Modifications and variations are always suggested. All classes are offered in a supportive and compassionate group environment.

The system of Yoga is intrinsically therapeutic. TaraMarie guides students with a unique perspective on how to accept and investigate individual alignment while honoring one’s personal - and ever-changing - journey of body, mind, and heart.

*About the seasonal perspective: according to Ayurveda, the sister science to Yoga, each season invites us to adapt our daily routine to new conditions. Yoga allows us to make choices; by connecting with carefully selected postures, breath, sensory awareness, and meditation, we can embrace Mother Nature's wisdom and harmonize our rhythms with hers. The intention of practicing Yoga in dialogue with the seasonal cycle is to cultivate a deep sense of well-being which can benefit other areas of our lives year-round.

All are welcome! $28 | New Student Intro + class packages are available. Class size is intentionally kept small to maximize individual attention. Pre-registration is highly recommended. Group workshops and private lessons are also available.
