The focus of any Pilates session is to acknowledge and strengthen the core (center of body), while bringing awareness and flexibility to the rest of the body. Special attention is paid to precision, movement, flow, breath, coordination, and alignment.
Mat class will use the classical Pilates repertory, incorporating props to aid in challenging and accommodating exercises. The Pilates method is transformative, and makes you better at all you wish to do.
Instructor Kim Shell has over twenty years of Pilates and movement based teaching experience, and comes from a professional dance and acrobatics background.
