In this workshop, Jezmina Von Thiele (they/she), co-author of Secrets of Romani Fortune Telling, & Juanita Viera (she/her) of The Art of Integration, will guide participants to connect with and validate their intuition. Many of today’s popular divinatory practices, such as tarot, palmistry, and tea leaf reading are rooted in or heavily influenced by Romani survival trades. Roma are an Indian diasporic ethnic group also known by the slur, Gypsies. Jezmina, a generational fortune teller in their Romani family tradition, will share intuitive exercises her grandmother taught her and guide the class in deepening their intuitive connection to self, others, and spirit. Juanita Viera, a licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT), will facilitate a creative exploration of the intuitive messages students receive.

You can bring a favorite oracle or tarot deck if you have one (if not, we have some extras). Please also bring your favorite notebook, pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, or other art supplies you enjoy. We will also have some art supplies available.
