On 2/14 I am teaching an inclusive Valentine's Day movement workshop for couples, couples being understood in most broad sense (partners, first dates, friends, siblings, platonic friends, colleagues, anyone basically who clelebrate loving connection with another person in any form.) In this era of apps that claim to connect people, but actually make humans treat each other like disposable goods, and alienate them, it has become harder than ever to form lasting connection that are also fun, and can grow. We are glued to our phones, and hurting. This fun "date night" event is for those who value human connection on a deeper level, understand we are part of consumerist culture, but are still free to find ways to live differently, and use this day not to hate but as beautiful opportunity to celebrate love. It is for people who celebrate connecting, and want to understand love deeply in a very open way, who want to learn to better listen, accept the other, receive, let go of control, and enjoy and laugh with each other, and feel less lonely. It is as intimate as it can get without being sexual, it is as loving as it can be as those moments you can’t stop laughing with your friend. Due to space restriction, there is room for 10 couples. Grab your neighbor, your lovey dovey, your first date, your partner, your mom, brother, coworker or significant other and let yourself be playful and vulnerable. Sliding scale available. The workshop will be done in partnership with @soulcode @grandstreethealing
